Jesus Was Resurrected
Three days after Jesus was buried, He was resurrected as the prophecies had foretold (Psalm 16:8-11; Acts 2:25-36).
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 1 Corinthians 15:3-7 (NASB)
When Jesus returned to life, it proved He was God and His death on the cross made it possible for a person to be saved from hell if the individual believes He did everything necessary for him or her to be forgiven (Romans 1:4; 4:25). He did all of this so that your sins can be forgiven and you can live with Him forever in heaven.
Only Jesus Can Save You
The Bible tells us that Jesus is the only One who can forgive your sins and give you eternal life in heaven. Acts 4:12 says, “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
