I received the following email from a Hindu, “Who needs the love of Jesus when you can have god's love? You don't have to have a “membership” in Christianity for god to love you - period!! God is beyond personalities - so please wake up and pray to god only, unless of course you're brain washed beyond redemption!! Please think with your head not with your heart!! This Hindu guy who replied me hates Christianity so much and he doesn't believe in Jesus at all as his Savior. He claims there is a GOD but who is this GOD? To him it's everyone except JESUS. How to wake him up from his SLEEP. PLEASE help me. I am praying and need your sound teaching to awake my friend.

I would read the follow passage to him,
Thus says the LORD . . . “I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me. Who is like Me? Let him proclaim and declare it; Yes, let him recount it to Me in order, From the time that I established the ancient nation. And let them declare to them the things that are coming And the events that are going to take place.” (NASB) Isaiah 44:6-7
“I am the LORD, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God . . . there is no one besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other, ” (NASB) Isaiah 45:5-6
These passages clearly say that there is no God other than the Christian God. There is only one God. There is no Hindu god or any other god – only the God Jesus Christ. Listen to Titus 2:13,
. . . looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, (NASB) Titus 2:13
This is the fundamental starting point. If he is wrong here, he is in major spiritual trouble. The prophecies, historical evidence, miracles, and the changed lives of real Christians are proof that the Bible speaks the truth. There is only one God – Jesus!
Since Jesus is the only God that exists, then “membership” in Christianity is absolutely necessary. If he does not believe that Jesus is both God and his Savior, then he will spend eternity in punishment for rejecting God.
And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. (NASB0 Acts 4:12
Jesus is his only hope. There is no other God.
Conclusion:
God is not something ethereal and unknowable. There is a real God. He is a spirit and He has communicated to mankind. He is called Jesus. He is our God and our Savior from sin. Jesus has given us a warning that we must not reject Him.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (NASB) John 3:16-18
Pray that he understands the things that you share with him. Do not be discouraged if he rejects your message. God only asks you to faithfully tell others that they must believe in Jesus. God has not asked you to win his heart. That is His work (John 16:7-11).
