Bible Question:

Who had the vision of one angel running to meet another?

Bible Answer:

The only passage in scripture about an angel running after someone or another angel is found in Psalm 35:6.

Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of buckler and shield, and rise up for my help. Draw also the spear and the battle-axe to meet those who pursue me; say to my soul, “I am your salvation.” Let those be ashamed and dishonored who seek my life; Let those be turned back and humiliated who devise evil against me. Let them be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD driving them on. Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them. (NASB) Ps. 35:1-6

Conclusion:

This is a famous passage. King David is asking the Lord to defend him, to fight for him. He finally asks for the angel of the Lord to pursue them. This is a prayer of request for God’s mercy and defense. The Bible tells us that God always defended King David. His enemies never captured him. The Lord answered this prayer.
