Conclusion.
Those who believe that one can lose his or her salvation have missed
the point of the new covenant. The old covenant depended on a persons
behavior, but not the new one. Under the old covenant a person lost
favor with God; but not with the new one, because it all depends on
Him. God was unhappy with the Old Covenant because the men and women
were not obedient and He had warned them of the consequences. But
that is not true of the new one. The old covenant of I had better
not make a mistake is gone and a new one where God says I
will is here. It does not depend on me.

When
He said, A new covenant, He has made the first obsolete.
But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to
disappear. (NASB) Heb. 8:13 |
The old is gone and the new is here. My salvation no longer depends
on my efforts but on Jesus death for my sins and return to life.
Praise God!
