| Prophecy |
I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter hidden things from of old. (NIV) Psalms 78:2 (1410-450 B.C.) |
|

| Fulfillment |
Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.” (NIV) Matt. 13:34-35 |

| Comment |
The prophecy in Psalm 78:2 predicted that the Messiah would speak in parables. That is exactly what Jesus did according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. |
