". . . a great number of people . . had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by evil spirits were cured, and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all (NIV)." Luke 6:17-19.

This is another picture of the Messiah that is given by Isaiah but was not understood by the Jews. They were so eagerly looking forward to a military Messiah that they missed the message of the prophecy. One with powers for healing the blind, lame, deaf and mute would come. There is no doubt that Jesus did this.
