Now the men who held Jesus mocked Him and beat Him (NKJV). Luke 22:63

This prediction about Jesus from the prophet Isaiah, 740 - 680 B.C., speaks of the time when He would be beaten and humiliated. The prediction came true along with many other predictions during Jesus' betrayal, trial, beatings and crucifixion.
