His
Birth. When Jesus was born into this world, He took on human
flesh. He became a man. It was His human flesh that would some day
die on the old rugged cross. We must remember that God is spirit
(John 4:24).

Therefore,
since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise
also partook of the same, that through death He might render
powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil
. . . (NASB) Heb. 2:14 |
God
took on human flesh, so that his physical body could die for our
sins. This
is called His first coming. Jesus said this to his disciples,
| |
If
I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive
you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. (NASB)
John 14:3 |
He
said He would come again. His
next coming is called the Second Coming. The
first and second comings of Jesus mark two times that He came and
will come to live on this earth for an extended period of time in
a human body. Having become a human the first time, He now has a
immortal human body (1 Tim. 2:5). The
next time He will come in glory and power and defeat sin and establish
His kingdom here on earth. We are now waiting for His Second Coming
and not His third one.

They
also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking
into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you
into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched
Him go into heaven.” (NASB) Acts 1:11 |
Conclusion: I
would encourage you to study the series called Solid Roots. It will
help answer many of your questions. May the Lord bless you as you
seek to know Him better. I would also encourage you to see what it means
to believe in Jesus. This is where the relation with God starts.
