Mark of a Christian.
Yes, we are called to love each other through the power of
the Holy Spirit. One of the marks of a true Christian is that
we love one another. The pattern of life of Christians is that
they love one another more than non-Christians love others.

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates
his brother, he is a liar . . ." (NASB) 1 John 4:20
|
Men and women who are real Christians will love others. God
is in the process of changing all of us. Some who had little
compassion, some who were mainly self-centered, and some
who were unloving are becoming more loving and compassionate
each year as Jesus makes changes in their lives.
Conclusion:
Are we to love others more? Yes! Do we lack compassion? Yes,
at times. Are without love? True Christians have love and
compassion as a pattern of their life!

We love, because He first loved us. If someone says, “I
love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar,
for the one who does not love his brother whom he has
seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. (NASB) 1
John 4:19-20
