The second benefit of being saved is living forever with God.
The righteous are those whom Jesus has forgiven.
3rd Benefit. The final major benefit occurs while we are still living this life. God helps each person live their life as a Christian, by His Holy Spirit.

4th Benefit. The next benefit is that we are no longer strangers or outsiders
to God because we now have a personal relationship with Jesus.

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His
Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" (NASB) Gal. 4:6 |
We are His children. In fact, someday Christians will reign with
Jesus Christ in a kingdom for 1,000 years,
| |
. . .they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign
with Him for a thousand years. (NASB) Revelation 20:6 |
Eventually we will spend eternity with God in heaven. Here is
a brief description of what heaven will be like,
| |
And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the
tabernacle of God is among men, and He shall dwell among them,
and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them,
and He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall
no longer be any death; there shall no longer be any mourning,
or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." (NASB)
Revelation 21:3-4 |
You can find more information about heaven by reading all of Revelation
21-22.
Conclusion: God forgives our sins, starts changing us and some day we will
live with God in heaven. Those are the benefits. The disadvantage
is eternal punishment. |
