angels or evil spirits come and stay in one's house? I believe I have
angels and evil spirits in my house. I can hear them make noises, and
I feel different temperature changes. I was getting sick, and I had pastors
pray for the evil spirits to leave. I was anointed with oil, and I brought
home prayer cloths. I also anointed them with oil. Why is this happening
Bible Answer: Yes, angels and evil spirits
can enter your home. For example, the archangel Gabriel entered the
temple in Jerusalem to speak to the priest Zacharias about his future
son, John the Baptist (Luke 1:7-23). He simply appeared inside the room
where the priest was ministering. The same angel also entered Mary’s
home in order to announce that she would give birth to Jesus Christ (Luke
1:26-35). If holy angels can enter a closed room, then
evil spirits can too! Evil spirits, or demons, are angels also. They are
fallen angels. Therefore, evil spirits can also enter our homes, places
of business, and any other place that they desire. We would encourage
you to read the study “Angels - Good & Evil” in order
to understand more about angels and evil spirits.
Why would evil spirits or demons enter your home? While
we do not know if demons are present in your home, we know that you are
vulnerable to demonic activity if you have never believed in Jesus Christ.
A person who has believed in Jesus Christ and commits his or her life to
God has the Holy Spirit living within (Rom. 8:9). Demons or evil
spirits can never possess the body of a true Christian, since the Holy
Spirit is living inside.
You are from God, little children, and have overcome
them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
(NASB) 1 John 4:14
